Marquis Yachts
Marquis Yachts are built by an elite, dedicated team of crafts people situated within our extensive Wisconsin (USA) campus. That's right, US-built. This enables us to isolate Marquis and maintain the high standards established for this class. Common resources such as transportation, handling and the indoor test center are shared for maximum efficiency.
Marquis Yachts are built to meet the European Community's Classification A Standard. That makes her one of very few domestic-built brands (that we're aware of) that has this distinction.
Looking good is one thing, but if you have an appreciation for modern yacht-building technology, we know that you'll find Marquis is more than a mere alternative. It's better.
Marquis is a stunning and agile new class of motor yachts born from a fine synthesis of world-class design and American yacht-building technology. With an exquisite shape and structurally sound, with superior sea-keeping abilities, Marquis represents a distinct new chapter in motor yacht evolution.
Marquis' own internal development team is comprised of veteran designers, engineers, propulsion experts and modelers that represent literally dozens of decades of extensive yacht experience with committed expertise in all marine disciplines. We established high standards for Marquis and ensured that these high standards were accurately designed into the project and maintained through every step of the construction process.
"U.S. Navy-style" construction, solid fiberglass hull-bottoms, cored hull-sides, molded fiberglass stringer system, structural engine mounting, bulkheads 1" thick and triple-bonded, deck plate comprised of fiberglass, self-supporting fiberglass superstructure, frameless window systems, true yacht cabinetry Marquis Yachts utilizes The International Marine Certification Institute (IMCI) as an independent certification organization to inspect and certify that our yachts meet the requirements of the European Directive for Recreational Craft (94/25/EC). Products not intended for use in Europe, but are built to these specifications and certified by the IMCI benefit from these rigid standards as well.
The naval design firm of Nuvolari-Lenard of Venice, Italy, is internationally renowned as a specialist in the design and construction of large, high-end production and custom yachts.
The firm's expertise results from its direct involvement in a wide range of yacht-building activities, from design to total project management, to customized interior design, to serving as surveyors and owner's representatives during construction, sea-trial and delivery.
Nuvolari-Lenard is a yacht design firm established in 1989 in Venice, Italy, by Carlo Nuvolari, a marine and civil engineer and Dan Lenard, designer. Studio Nuvolari-Lenard is a particular case in Yacht design and Naval architecture for three major reasons:
Firstly, it is the only design firm in the world highly successful both in the market of large, mega and superyachts and in the market of smaller craft high series and semi production.
Secondly, it is a unique design firm that unlike other designer companies does not limit its work to just one field but has since it's establishment provided for all the designs involved always the full package: conceptual layouts, exterior and interior styling, decoration. Nuvolari-Lenard is at present the only design firm that never offers just a partial role involvement in the project but a complete package from the conceptual idea with the owner, a preliminary engineering and register compliancy through to having a leading role in the bid stage followed by exterior design and detailing, interior design and decoration all the way to logo graphic design when required.
Thirdly, being amongst the youngest designers on the scene with an average age of thirty the chances of falling into a design cliché have never been an issue. Nuvolari-Lenard welcomes you to this site presenting our work.
